The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the attack on the residence of its Head of Mission in Khartoum by a Sudanese army aircraft, which caused significant damage to the building. The UAE has called on the Sudanese army to take full responsibility for this cowardly act.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) announced that it will submit a letter to the League of Arab States, the African Union, and the United Nations to address this attack by the Sudanese Armed Forces, which represents a blatant violation of the fundamental principle of the inviolability of diplomatic premises.
The Ministry emphasized the necessity of protecting diplomatic buildings and the residences of embassy staff, in accordance with the treaties and customs governing diplomatic relations.
Furthermore, the Ministry expressed its strong condemnation of these criminal acts and its unwavering rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten security and stability, in violation of international law.
