PM Modi Highlights India’s Growth At UN’s ‘Summit Of Future’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful speech at the United Nations’ ‘Summit of the Future,’ where he addressed key global issues and shared India’s success in poverty reduction and sustainable development.

India’s Progress in Poverty Alleviation

PM Modi emphasized that India has successfully elevated 250 million people out of poverty, showcasing sustainable development as a proven model.
“We are ready to share this experience of success with the Global South,” he stated, underlining India’s commitment to helping other developing nations.

Global Peace through Collective Strength

Modi stressed the importance of collective strength for humanity’s success, not conflict.
“Success of humanity lies in our collective strength, not in the battlefield. Reforms in global institutions are essential for global peace and development,” he said, calling for necessary reforms in global bodies to maintain relevance.

Terrorism and Emerging Global Threats

Addressing security concerns, Modi highlighted the growing threat of terrorism and the emergence of cyber, maritime, and space conflicts. He urged the global community to take coordinated action.
“Global action must match global ambition,” Modi remarked, stressing the need for collaboration in tackling these challenges.

Commitment to ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’

Modi reiterated India’s global commitment to the motto “One Earth, One Family, One Future,” emphasizing sustainable growth and cooperation for all.

Call for Balanced Digital Governance

Highlighting the importance of technology, Modi called for balanced regulations to ensure the safe and responsible use of digital tools.

“We want global digital governance where sovereignty and integrity remain intact,” he noted, offering India’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) for global good, ensuring that it serves as a bridge, not a barrier.
