Biden Considers Authorizing Long-Range Missiles For Ukraine Against Russia

President Joe Biden confirmed on Tuesday that his administration is considering the possibility of authorizing Ukraine to use US-made long-range missiles in its ongoing defense against Russia. This statement comes after reports surfaced that Iran has been delivering missiles to Moscow to support Russia’s war efforts.

We’re Working on It: Says Biden

While leaving the White House for New York, Biden responded to reporters asking about lifting restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons. “We’re working that out right now,” he said, hinting that discussions were ongoing regarding the potential deployment of these missiles to assist Ukraine in the conflict.

US Support Amid Russian Missile Threat

This development follows growing concerns over Russia’s increasing use of missiles supplied by Iran, as Western intelligence sources report that these weapons are bolstering Moscow’s military capabilities. The potential authorization of long-range missiles for Ukraine could significantly alter the dynamics of the conflict, enabling Kyiv to strike deeper into Russian-held territories.

Continued Western Backing for Ukraine

The Biden administration has consistently supported Ukraine with military aid throughout the conflict, and the possible deployment of long-range missiles is seen as another step in that direction. This decision, however, remains under discussion and will be closely monitored by both US and global leaders.
