Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani, commemorated the anniversary of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) with heartfelt gratitude. Reflecting on the past year, she reminisced about the inaugural moments, expressing her appreciation for the overwhelming response from the audience. She thanked everyone for their support, acknowledging the artists who graced the center with their talent and the audience whose presence energized and inspired them.

Nita expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to showcase India’s rich cultural heritage through various artistic endeavors at NMACC. From hosting renowned theatrical productions to supporting emerging artists and providing a platform for traditional artisans through initiatives like Swadesh, the center has embraced a diverse range of artistic expressions. She emphasized the joy of making NMACC a home for the arts, artists, and the audience alike.

“The overwhelming response and thunderous applause from all of you, our dear audience, will remain etched in my heart, as a beautiful memory for a lifetime! It was the moment I knew that we all had embarked on something truly special, something important, something noble, something that we hoped would make our nation proud and our culture shine,” Nita expressed.

The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, inaugurated on March 31, 2023, stands as a testament to the vision of creating a hub for art, culture, and knowledge. Nita highlighted her and Mukesh’s shared dream of providing a space where music, dance, and art can flourish, enriching India’s cultural landscape.

“Mukesh and I together had a dream to create a center that would be a center of art, culture and knowledge. There should be a center, here music gets new notes, dance gets new rhythm, art gets a new home and artists get a new sky,” Nita stated.

Looking forward, Nita expressed renewed commitment to NMACC’s founding vision, recognizing India’s cultural heritage as a priceless national asset. She emphasized the center’s role in preserving and promoting this heritage for future generations. With its state-of-the-art facilities and dedication to artistic excellence, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre continues to serve as a beacon of creativity and cultural celebration.

“As we complete one year of NMACC, we look ahead with renewed purpose and enthusiasm. Today, we rededicate ourselves to NMACC’s founding vision. Mukesh and I have always believed that India’s priceless artistic heritage is our intangible national wealth. In all humility, I can say that no country in the world can match the sheer diversity and depth of India’s cultural legacy,” Nita concluded.
