In a significant development in the investigation of the Rameswaram Cafe bomb blast that occurred on March 1, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has released the photograph of the suspected terrorist. The NIA, relying on CCTV footage, unveiled the image of the accused, offering a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh to anyone providing information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Initial doubts arose due to the masked appearance of the individual with a cap during the incident. However, a breakthrough occurred during the examination of CCTV footage, revealing a moment when the accused was not wearing a mask. The NIA has urged the public to contact 080-29510900, 8904241100 immediately if they identify the suspect. A substantial reward of Rs 10 lakh awaits those who furnish accurate information aiding in the apprehension of the accused.

Originally handled by the CCB and investigated by eight police teams, the case saw no breakthrough. Subsequently, the NIA took charge of the investigation. Earlier in Bengaluru, a group was released from jail had planned a major act of vandalism, leading to the arrest of four individuals. The NIA continues its investigation, detaining three individuals in Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts on Tuesday.

The blast occurred at Rameswaram Cafe in Kundalahalli, Bangalore, injuring nine people on March 1. A person left a bag containing a bomb in the bus, captured on CCTV, yet the accused remains at large. Speculation suggests a potential escape to the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu, raising concerns of premeditated planning. The incident bears resemblance to previous blasts in the state over the past decade, prompting an inquiry into potential connections and a quest to determine if a single individual is involved in these cases.
