NewsX-Polstrat exit poll predicts BJP’s return to power in UP

In Punjab, AAP is likely to emerge as the single biggest party.

The NewsX-Polstrat exit poll on Monday has shown that the BJP will win a majority in Uttar Pradesh with 211-225 seats and a vote share of 40.1%. The SP-led coalition is expected to win 146-160 seats in the state with 34.9% votes. BSP is predicted to come in third with 14-24 seats with 14% votes, whereas the Congress is expected to win just 4-6 seats in UP with 7.4% of the total votes.

In Punjab, AAP is expected to emerge as the biggest party with 56-61 seats and a 41.2% vote share. The ruling Congress is expected to win only 24-29 seats in the state with 23.2% of the total votes. SAD is seemingly getting 22-26 seats with a 22.5% vote share. The BJP coalition in the state will win only 1-6 seats, as per the NewsX-Polstrat exit poll.

In Goa, the BJP is seemingly falling short of 1-3 seats from gaining a majority in the state legislative Assembly. BJP is predicted to win 17-19 seats in the state with a vote share of 36.6%. The NewsX-Polstrat exit poll shows that Congress is still the second most popular party in the state as the party is expected to win 11-13 seats with a 28.4% vote share. According to the exit poll, AAP is expected to win only 1-4 seats with 7.2% of the total votes.

In Uttarakhand, a hung Assembly is looking like a possibility as Congress is expected to win 33-35 seats and the BJP is expected to win 31-33 seats in the state. As per the NewsX-Polstrat exit poll, both the main parties are struggling to win a clear-cut majority. The Congress party is expected to get 41.8% of the total votes, whereas the BJP seems to be winning 39.9%. of the total votes. AAP is expected to win only 0-3 seats in Uttarakhand.

If the results come as per the prediction of exit polls, it will be the first time that AAP will come to power in Punjab. AAP had declared Bhagwant Mann as its chief ministerial candidate in the state. India News-Jan ki Baat said AAP is predicted to get 60-84 seats, Congress 18-31, SAD 12-19 and BJP three to seven.

In Uttar Pradesh, the India News-Jan Ki Baat exit poll has predicted 222-260 seats for the BJP. The poll says that the SP will win around 135 to 165 seats, while the BSP would end up with 4 to 9 seats. The exit poll says that the Congress would end up with just 1 to 3 seats, while the others would bag 3-4 seats. The India News-Jan Ki Baat exit poll predicts 32-41 seats for BJP in the 70-seat Uttarakhand Assembly, 27-35 seats for Congress, 1 seat for AAP, 1 seat for BSP and 3 seats for others.

As per India News-Jan Ki Baat exit poll, the BJP will retain power with a clear lead in the 60-member Manipur Assembly polls. The saffron party will emerge victorious in 23-28 seats, it claimed. The Congress is ending at second place with 10-14 seats, while NPP will get 7-8 seats. The NPF is predicted to win 5-8 seats, while the JDU is likely to emerge victorious in 5-7 seats. Others are predicted to win 2-3 seats in the elections.

In the 40-seat Goa Assembly, the India News-Jan Ki Baat exit poll predicts 13-19 seats for the BJP, INC and allies 14-19 seats; AAP 1-2 seats, MGP 3-5 seats and others 1-3 seats.

The exit poll conducted by ETG Research says that the BJP is likely to return to power in Uttar Pradesh. The exit poll says that the ruling BJP is likely to bag 230 to 245 seats in the state. The exit poll says that the SP and BSP will win 150-165 and 5-10 seats respectively, while the Congress would bag just 2 to 6 seats, while the others would win 2 to 6 seats.

The MATRIZE exit poll says that the BJP may win 262 to 277 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The exit poll predicts 119 to 134 for the Samajwadi Party and 7 to 15 for the BSP. The Congress, on the other hand, would end up with just 3 to 8 seats, the exit polls state. The P-MARQ exit polls predict 240 seats for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh where the majority mark is 202. The poll predicts 140 for the SP and 17 for the BSP. The INC and others are predicted to get 4 and 2 seats respectively, the exit poll also says.

For Punjab, News24-Today’s Chanakya Exit poll predicted AAP getting 100 (plus, minus 11) seats and Congress 10 (plus, minus 7) seats in the 117-member Punjab assembly. It predicted SAD getting six (plus, minus five) seats and BJP one (plus, minus one) seat. According to India Today-Axis My India exit poll, AAP is predicted to get 76-90 seats in Punjab, Congress 19-31, SAD and its allies 7-11 and BJP and its allies 1 to 4 seats. The ABP News-C Voter predicted that AAP will get 51-61 seats, Congress 22-28 seats, SAD 20-26 seats and BJP 7-13 seats. The ETG Research survey predicted AAP getting 70-75 seats, Congress 27-33 seats, SAD 7 to 13 and BJP three to seven seats.

According to Times Now-Veto exit polls, AAP is predicted to get 70 seats, Congress 22, SAD 19 and BJP five seats. According to P MarQ survey, AAP is predicted to get 62 to 70 seats, Congress 23 to 31, SAD 16-24 and BJP 1-3 seats.
