The Special Cell of Delhi Police has made a big revelation in the NewsClick case. Police have said that a large amount of foreign funds were provided to NewsClick Studio Pvt Ltd to harm the sovereignty and integrity of India and to incite disaffection and endanger national security.

With this fund, a conspiracy was being hatched to separate Arunachal Pradesh and Kashmir from India. To further this conspiracy, Rs 115 crore was given to Newsclick Studio by an American company Worldwide Media Holdings LLC. The owner of this American company is a big official of the Communist Party of China.

The police claimed that people and institutions like Prabir Purkayastha, Amit Sengupta, Doraiswami Raghunandan, Bappaditya Sinha, Gautam Navlakha, Geeta Hariharan, Amit Chakraborty and Worldwide Media Holding LLC are shareholders in PPK Newsclick Studios Pvt Ltd. This also includes Neville Roy Singham, a member of the propaganda department of the Communist Party of China.

Furthermore, it was also revealed that Gautam Navlakha and PPK Newsclick Studio were involved in anti-India activities. These people have also been involved in supporting banned Naxalite organisations and anti-national conspiracies along with Pakistan’s ISI agent Ghulam Nabi Fai.

Police claim that Prabir Purkayastha and his associates, including Joseph Raj, Anoop Chakraborty and Bappaditya Sinha, had illegally diverted foreign funds. These funds were allegedly distributed to various individuals, including associates of Teesta Setalvad. Police have also collected some evidence which shows that Prabir Purkayastha was in constant touch with Neville Roy Singham and other Chinese employees of Neville Roy Singham’s company in Shanghai.

He used to talk to these people on email. These emails also reveal conspiracies not to show Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh as part of India while weakening the territorial integrity of India. These people were involved in disrupting essential community services during farmers’ protests and spreading rumours to defame the Indian government during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Official police documents reveal that during the raids at the locations of the above accused, electronic devices and documents were seized and more than 4.27 lakh emails were recovered which are part of a larger conspiracy against India. An amount of approximately Rs 115 crore was given to Prabir Purkayastha and others to portray Kashmir as a disputed territory and Arunachal as China’s part.
