Jammu, Sep 29:Four Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, including an Assistant Commandant and an Inspector, were killed in a reported incident of fratricidal firing at a CISF camp in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
According to CISF sources, an incident of fratricidal firing was reported at the CISF camp deployed at the **Sewa-II Power Project in the Basholi area of Kathua district**.
The sources said four jawans were injured in the incident and that details regarding the circumstances of the firing and the condition of those involved were being ascertained by teams on the ground.
Senior officers and CISF officials have also rushed to the spot following the incident, the sources said.
A police team has reached the area and initiated an investigation into the incident. Officials are working to ascertain the sequence of events and the circumstances that led to the firing.
