Rapper Nelly Arrested For Suspected Drug Possession At St. Louis Casino

Rapper Nelly was arrested early Wednesday for suspected possession of ecstasy at a St. Louis-area casino. The Missouri Highway Patrol found four pills on him. Nelly also had an outstanding warrant for not having proof of vehicle insurance. His representatives have yet to comment on the arrest.

Rapper Nelly was arrested early Wednesday for suspected illegal drug possession at a St. Louis-area casino after Missouri Highway Patrol officers found four ecstasy pills on him. The 49-year-old rapper was held in Maryland Heights, home to the Hollywood Casino and Hotel. He also had an outstanding warrant for a previous charge of not having proof of insurance for a vehicle.

Nelly, known for hits like “Hot in Herre” and “Just A Dream,” is a three-time Grammy winner and recently toured with Janet Jackson. His representatives have yet to comment, but his attorney is expected to issue a statement. Nelly was previously arrested on drug charges in 2015 and accused of sexual assault in 2017.
