The Narcotics Control Bureau raided the Goa-bound ‘Cordelia’ cruise ship and busted a drugs rave party. Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has been detained for questioning.

An official told Goa Chronicle that based on a tip-off that a party was scheduled on the crusade bound for Goa, reportedly 20 NCB officials booked tickets and boarded the Cordelia, disguised as passengers. They waited till the time those on board allegedly started using narcotics and caught them red-handed. The captain of the ship was then asked to take the cruise back to the international cruise terminal at Ballard Pier in South Mumbai.

Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede led the raid by the NCB team on the Goa-bound cruise ship. On the suspects being searched, different drugs were recovered from them, which they had hidden in their clothes, undergarments, and purses. NCB officials informed that those detained had a variety of drugs on them like MDMA, Ecstasy, Cocaine, Mephedrone, and Charas.

Intriguingly, passengers got special pockets sewn to their clothes, in order to evade security checks and smuggle the drugs aboard. One of those held allegedly hid the drugs in the heel of his shoe, an NCB official said.

Munmun Dhamecha, Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, Gomit Chopra, and Arbaaz Merchant were also detained along with Aryan Khan for questioning by the NCB officials.
