“God-gifted opportunity for PM Modi to perform pooja today”: HD Deve Gowda

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, set to attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, emphasized the significance of the occasion, expressing gratitude to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath for the invitation. He noted that it is a god-gifted opportunity for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to perform the pooja, considering the historical and sacred nature of the event. Deve Gowda thanked both the Chief Minister and Prime Minister Modi, referring to the latter as a “precious man” who has received the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva.

“I am supremely happy that PM Modi is going to do Pooja today,” Deve Gowda added, acknowledging the unique and auspicious nature of the moment. Regarding the decision of the INDIA bloc leaders not to participate in the ceremony, he expressed reservations, stating, “The stand they (Opposition) have taken, I don’t think it is going to be a proper decision.”

In anticipation of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony for Lord Shri Ram Lala in Ayodhya, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) shared images reflecting devotional fervor and optimism about the special puja. Meanwhile, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das emphasized that with the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, Ram Rajya would commence, bringing an end to inequalities and fostering harmony and love.

Acharya Satyendra Das remarked, “From today, Ram Rajya will begin with Pran Pratishtha. All the inequalities will be over. Everyone will behave with love. From Ayodhya, the change will come to the entire country and it will be very beautiful. And everyone will live in harmony. We will live with goodwill. Lord Ram’s blessing will fall on everyone.” He also expressed optimism about the fulfillment of the desires of Ram Bhakts with the seating of Ram Lalla, predicting an end to all difficulties.

The ‘Pran Pratistha’ of Ram Lalla, scheduled for Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, is set to take place today, January 22. The ceremony, graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among other dignitaries, will commence with a morning puja, followed by the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla in ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra’ from around 12.30 pm to 1 pm.
