Senior BJP leader, Mr. Devender Singh Rana, emphasized the mantra of “Nation First” as the core and guiding philosophy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Addressing the Shakti Vandan Workshop in Sunderbani, Rana praised the BJP under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, positioning it as a party devoted to upholding the unity, sovereignty, and integrity of India.
Rana highlighted that the BJP, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has set a nationalistic political discourse, fostering civilizational renaissance and ending centuries of despondency due to persecution. He critiqued the Congress’s historical alliance with British colonial rulers, attributing it to the partition of the nation in 1947. Rana accused the Congress of continuing divisive politics, now manifesting as the North-South divide under the Nehruvian legacy.
Criticizing the recent “Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra” by Rahul Gandhi, Rana called it “Bharat Todo and Desh ke Vibhajan Karao Yatra,” suggesting that the Congress is furthering divisions within the country. He emphasized that the nation’s sovereignty and integrity should never be compromised, and the commitment to safeguarding unity is unwavering, even if sacrifices are required.
Mr. Rana commended Prime Minister Modi’s vision of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas Sabka Prayas,” which has galvanized the nation towards comprehensive development by 2047. He praised initiatives like “Make in India,” “Start-up,” “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,” and “Ayushman Bharat,” reflecting the Prime Minister’s commitment to inclusive growth.
Referring to the political landscape in Jammu and Kashmir, Rana stated that BJP has created a niche for itself through path-breaking initiatives, while criticizing the political opportunism of its allies like the NC and PDP. He highlighted the BJP’s vision for “Naya J&K,” where opportunities for progress are available to all, without discrimination or appeasement.
