Four people have been arrested in connection with the alleged murder of software engineer Nagaraju in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, police said on Friday.
They identified the arrested suspects as Ripunjaya, Gopinath, Ramesh, and Kumar. Nagaraju, according to officials, was killed because of his younger brother’s alleged extramarital relationship with a woman.
The people arrested are the woman’s relatives. SP Tirupati Nagaraju’s murder, according to Parameshwar Reddy, was pre-planned.
He stated that five people were named in the FIR, and four of them were arrested. The hunt for the other, identified as Chanukhya Pratap, has begun. The SP stated that Chanukhya Pratap would be apprehended soon.
Nagaraju, 35, was a software engineer who was killed on April 2 in the Tirupati district, according to officials. He was summoned by the woman’s relatives to settle an issue involving his younger brother’s alleged extramarital affair with the woman.
According to them, the victim was tied inside the car, and the accused allegedly set fire to it.
