The twin deaths of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on 14 June and his former manager Disha Salian on 8 June 2020 have raised enough suspicion amongst fans, who on social media platforms have been pressing for a fair probe. Police have so far recorded the statements of 14 people including his friends, family and the security guard of his building.
According to Mumbai Police sources, Disha allegedly died by falling off the highrise apartment which she and her fiancé actor Rohan Rai bought. They were partying with other four friends on the night of 8 June. As per the police report, Disha was seen partying with her friends when she got a call from her friend in UK and she went to another room and locked the door. Disha spoke about her work and projects being cancelled and they spoke for almost 20 min or so. After sometime Rohan Rai and her friends approached her but she was not opening the door, upon forcing the door open they spotted her body at the ground floor.
Her body was taken to Shatabdi Hospital where her Covid-19 test was carried out. The report came on 11 June, confirming that she was Covid-19 negative. After that, the body was taken for autopsy. Even as the authorities cite the Covid-19 pandemic behind the delay in her post-mortem, social media speculation raise doubts over her delayed postmortem. Mumbai police looks this case as suicide but is also considering accidentally she might have fallen as window has no grills and while investigations are still on they have yet not closed the case.
Mumbai Police has the complete 8 June CCTV footage of the building which shows only essential services and staff entering the apartment. The police have recorded statements of all who entered the apartment that day.
Disha worked with a company named Cornerstone, through which she came into contact with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. However, their association was completely professional.
Just ahead of Disha’s mysterious death, she talked to a friend for nearly 45 minutes discussing her professional life. She shared how she is unable to confirm a few deals. Mumbai Police recorded the statement of Disha’s friends also.
It has been nearly two months to Disha’s death, and recently Mumbai Police urged the people to share information or evidence, if they know of, related to Disha’s death.
