In a shocking incident, commuters walk on railway tracks to go to their offices, following the failure of local train services in Mumbai.

As a result, it caused a disruption, and many commuters came out of local trains and started walking in the tracks.

As per central railway officials, the main line of Mumbai’s suburban rail was affected due to fall of bamboo structure in an overhead wire between sion and Matunga stations at 7.25 am.

Thus, local train services halted between these two stations for an hour. Drastically affecting movement of officegoers.

Talking about the train halt, central railway public relations officer Swapnil Nila revealed that they had to switch off the power supply to overhead wire for safely removing the bamboo.

Eventually, the services of the local train got back on track at 8.20 am.
