A raid was conducted by Mumbai Police on a tip-off and recovered 20-star back turtles from the MHB Colony Police station area in Borivali. Meanwhile, Nadeem Shujauddin Sheikh 33-year-old smuggler has been arrested who hails from Meera Road in Thane. Meanwhile, the arrested accused brought the rare species of turtles to sell them. Moreover, the value of turtles is estimated to be approximately 3,50,000 rupees. However, under sections 9, 39, 44, 48, 48A, and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972 the case has been registered.
