According to his most recent health report, Mulayam Singh Yadav, the founder of the Samajwadi Party and a former chief minister of the state of Uttar Pradesh, is still in serious condition. Yadav is being looked for by a large team of specialists after being admitted to the ICU of the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

“Sh Mulayam Singh Yadav ji is still critical and on life saving drugs, he is being treated in the ICU of Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon by a comprehensive team of specialists,” the hospital said.

Yadav, 82, has been receiving medical care since August. On Sunday, his condition began to worsen, and as a result, he was transferred to the ICU at Medanta Hospital.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier on Sunday asked Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav about the condition of his father Mulayam Singh Yadav. According to reports, PM Modi assured of all possible assistance.
