The pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are in full swing in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Anant, the youngest son of Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani, is preparing to tie the knot with Radhika, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, later this year. On the second day of the gala event, new family portraits of the Ambani family were shared on social media.
The official handle of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre took to Instagram to share a series of beautiful family pictures, captioning them, “Special moments of love reserved for their son Anant and his fiancée Radhika, even as doting parents Nita and Mukesh Ambani open their hearts and home at Jamnagar to welcome guests for the pre-wedding festivities, in a true embodiment of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ or ‘Guest is God’ tradition of India.”
In these images, Mukesh Ambani, along with his wife Nita Ambani, son Anant Ambani, and soon-to-be daughter-in-law Radhika Merchant, are seen posing together. Mukesh Ambani is captured planting a kiss on his son Anant’s cheek in one photo, while another shows Nita Ambani holding the groom-to-be close. The couple looked resplendent in matching beige traditional Indian attire.
Additionally, Radhika and her future father-in-law are seen sharing smiles in another picture. The pre-wedding celebrations commenced with a spectacular drone show, preceding Pop sensation Rihanna’s performance on the first day. The event saw attendance from Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar, as well as renowned sports personalities including MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar.
Nita Ambani, the founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, expressed her passion for art and culture, stating, “Throughout my life I have been inspired by arts and culture. It has deeply moved me and I am very passionate about it.” Regarding her son’s wedding, she shared, “When it came to my youngest son Anant’s wedding with Radhika, I had two important wishes – first, I wanted to celebrate our roots…Jamnagar holds a special place in our hearts and has profound significance.
