The ‘Batla House’ actress Mrunal Thakur is ready to make her much-awaited debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year. She won everyone’s hearts with her impeccable performance in Sita Raman last year.
For the unversed, Cannes International Film Festival is an annual event held in Cannes, France, which previews new films of all genres from all around the world. Many celebs will walk the red carpet this year, and it will start on May 16 and go on till May 27.

The actress is currently filming for her next major south project, Nani 30. Talking about her Cannes debut, she told Pinkvilla, “I am thrilled to be attending the Cannes Film Festival for the first time. It is an honor to represent Grey Goose at such a prestigious platform. I am looking forward to interacting with global filmmakers, exploring new opportunities, and showcasing the talent that Indian cinema has to offer.”
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Mrunal was recently seen in a special dance number with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar for Selfiee. Next, the actress was seen alongside Aditya Roy Kapur in Gumraah. The film hit the big screens on April 7, 2023. The film is the official Hindi remake of the Tamil Hit Thadam. Besides this, Mrunal is also a part of Pippa co-starring Ishaan Khatter, and will also be seen in Lust Stories 2 with Angad Bedi.
