Haryana government has come up with a planning to set up modern revenue record room so that the age-old record can be view in a click on computers. Divulging details pertaining to this, Sanjeev Kaushal, Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Disaster Management and Consolidation Department, said that modern revenue record rooms will be ready in the next two months at all district headquarters of the state.

He said that the work of digitalising the age-old revenue records in the state is going on very fast and now soon these records will be easily available at the click of the mouse whereas earlier it used to take a lot of time to view and trace these records. Kaushal said that the Chief Minister Manohar Lal has approved an ambitious project of Rs 77 crore to digitalise the record rooms of revenue offices across the state. He shared that about Rs 44 crore is being spent to set up a modern record room at the district level. Kaushal was holding a virtual review meeting with the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts across the state on Sunday.
