MLA Kulwant Singh flagged off the eighth group of pilgrims from Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar district on Thursday at Prachin Shiv Mandir Mataur (Mohali) under the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra scheme.

Reiterating Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s commitment to the people of Punjab, he emphasized that the Chief Minister has fulfilled every promise made, including providing free power, door-to-door delivery of citizen-centric services, and more.

The Punjab Government, recognizing the financial constraints of those desiring pilgrimage, has allocated eight buses to each constituency to facilitate the journey to sacred places.
Interacting with the pilgrims before boarding the bus, MLA Kulwant Singh wished them the best of luck and informed them that the Punjab Government has arranged boarding, lodging, and a two-day religious tour. Each pilgrim was provided with a kit containing a blanket, pillow, bedsheet, and toiletry items. The two-day pilgrimage includes night stay arrangements at Salasar Dham.

Expressing joy, pilgrim Rani Kaushik thanked Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann for the opportunity of a free religious tour. She believes that this decision will be beneficial for pilgrims like her who wish to visit their sacred religious places.
