Punjab’s School Education Minister, Harjot Singh Bains, urged government school teachers to elevate students’ learning levels across the state during the inaugural ceremony of a day-long workshop. The workshop, part of the ‘Mission Sampath’ initiative by the School Education Department, aimed to enhance the quality of education in government schools.

Attended by District Education Officers, Deputy DEOs, and Block Primary Education Officers from all districts, the workshop analyzed data from baseline and mid-line testing under ‘Mission Sampath.’ Minister Harjot Singh Bains engaged with officials, expressing satisfaction with the improvements observed in students’ learning levels.
Highlighting the commitment of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann’s government to education, Minister Bains emphasized the goal of making students proficient in language, mathematics, and science subjects in ‘Mission Saksham’ schools. He noted the increased self-confidence among students in government schools, attributing it to the efforts to enhance the education system.

Bains shared the government’s dedication to providing students in ‘Mission Samrath’ schools with proficiency in key subjects. Additionally, he acknowledged the growing interest among government school students in fields like medical, engineering, civil services, and army recruitment, with organized visits providing exposure and opportunities.

District Education Officers shared effective education training techniques from their respective districts during the workshop. Minister Bains reiterated the government’s commitment to qualitative improvements in education, ensuring students’ proficiency and confidence in their academic pursuits
