Kamala Harris Gains Ground In 2024 Race, Surpassing Trump In Betting Markets

Kamala Harris is gaining momentum in the 2024 presidential race, especially in prediction markets where she is now doing better than Donald Trump on some platforms. According to the latest data, Harris has a 45% chance of winning the election on Polymarket, while Trump has a 54% chance. On PredictIt, Harris recently surpassed Trump with her bets priced at 54 cents, compared to Trump’s 50 cents.

Harris’s rise in the prediction markets is linked to her strong connections with the tech community. She has attracted support from tech figures like Mark Cuban and is engaging with major companies in the industry such as Ripple, Coinbase, and Circle. This support is helping boost her profile and betting odds.

In the betting markets, there are signs of Harris gaining an edge. On PredictIt, there were 31,375 bets on Harris winning compared to 25,985 on Trump, indicating growing confidence in her campaign. Despite Trump being favored to win key battleground states, Harris’s support is helping her close the gap and potentially take the lead.
