- General (Ret.) Hulusi Akar, Chair of the National Defence Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, stressed the growing vulnerability of global supply chains and emphasized international cooperation to mitigate risks. He highlighted AI and automation as crucial tools for enhancing protection.
- Farooq Al Zeer, Chairman of the Logistics Cluster at AD Ports Group, pointed out the significance of rapid response strategies. He cited the UAE’s efficient vaccine distribution during COVID-19 as an example of how digital and security platforms can ensure crisis preparedness.
- Professor ManMohan S. Sodhi, Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Bayes Business School, warned against evolving threats such as interception and infiltration. He highlighted piracy threats and the potential geopolitical risks of a single nation controlling major trade routes.
- Tim Cahill, President of Missiles, Fire & Control at Lockheed Martin, noted that while supply chain disruptions are stabilizing, challenges in sourcing critical materials like titanium persist. He emphasized the need for strategic international partnerships to build resilient supply chains.
