More than 20 people were injured when a Ferris wheel caught fire at the Highfield Festival near Leipzig, Germany, on Saturday evening. The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m., with images showing two carriages engulfed in flames and thick smoke rising from the ride.

Saxony police reported that the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Four individuals sustained burn injuries, while another person was treated for injuries related to a fall. Additionally, 18 people, including first responders and police officers, experienced smoke inhalation and were taken to hospitals for treatment.
