As Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi share the stage one last time in King Fahd International stadium, PSG claims 5-4 victory against Riyadh XI. Though it was a friendly match, majority of the supporters were battling for their icons that who would win. With the kick-off Messi wasted no time and scored a stunner at the 3rd minute giving the French team the lead. Within twenty minutes Ronaldo’s side showed dominance in possession helping him score in a penalty at the 34th minute. Both Keylor Navas and Mohammed Al-Owais picked up yellow cards before the first half could end. Julian Bernat, attempting to tackle landed with a horrific foul, which resulted in a red card booking. With only two minutes left for the first half Marquinhos, one of the Centre backs scored past the net handing the lead to PSG again. Without wasting any time Ronaldo found another opportunity to score the goal giving himself a brace in the injury time in first half. With a possession of fifty- fifty each Riyadh XI looked even stronger than expected in front of the mighty PSG. A team with young talents were finding it difficult to get a comfortable lead. Having twenty-three shots in total for Riyadh XI, eleven of them were in target. On the other hand PSG managed to get 13 shots in total out of which ten of them were in target. The battle against the two teams were fierce. In the second half Sergio Ramos, Mbappe and Hugo Ekitike scored one each for PSG. On the other hand HyunSoo Jang, and Talisca were the only ones to score goals against the dominating PSG. It was a significant occasion for Saudi Arabia, and the opening hour of the game was exciting to watch. In the first minutes, Messi scored, and Ronaldo later won a penalty to tie the score. Prior to PSG seizing control in the second half thanks to a Kylian Mbappe penalty, the Portuguese would tie the score once again to cancel out Marquinhos’ strike. The Frenchman played the best game of the night by a wide margin.
