In a world that is obsessed with going viral, individuals will stop at almost any extreme and sometimes hazardous act to gain attention. The reverse of the coin has come to light as a man‘s reckless stunt shook the town and attracted plenty of flak as Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, recently witnessed.
Mud-Strewn Chaos on Meerut Roads
The viral video, which has now caused outrage on the internet, features Intezaar Ali, a resident of Mundali village, performing a strange stunt. Ali had heaped a pile of mud onto the roof of his Mahindra Thar SUV before speeding on a busy road. When the vehicle accelerated, the mud was scattered in all directions, posing a danger to other drivers and pedestrians.

The stunt, aimed at entertaining online audiences, drew sharp criticism for its potential hazards. Concerned citizens condemned the recklessness, which could have led to severe accidents.
Swift Action by Authorities
The controversy caught the attention of Meerut Police, who promptly responded after the video went viral. Using footage from the incident, authorities identified the vehicle and seized it. The police later shared updates on social media platform X, reaffirming their commitment to public safety.
Social Media Stunts Gone Too Far
This Meerut case is not an isolated incident. In recent times, a similar incident in Panipat, Haryana, sparked public outrage. A social media influencer shot a reel in the crowded Insar market while wearing only a bra and pants. The situation got out of hand when locals caught up with the influencer and an argument ensued.
The confrontation culminated in an angry bystander slapping the influencer, who then apologised and promised not to repeat such actions. Though no formal police complaint was filed, the incident highlighted growing concerns over the misuse of public spaces for viral stunts.
While the internet provides a platform for creativity and fame, these incidents serve as stark reminders of the need for responsibility. Reckless acts not only endanger public safety but also tarnish the purpose of meaningful content creation.
