Foods that boost fertility in men

Infertility can affect both males and females. 23% of Indian men suffer from infertility, and the causes could be many, such as heavy smoking, alcohol intake, poor diet, a sedentary lifestyle, and obesity that leads to a low sperm count or low motility of sperm. A healthy lifestyle is as important for a man as it is for his female partner. Having a high sperm count will boost the chances of a successful conception, and having quality and high quantity sperm is important for a healthy and happy pregnancy.
A healthy, nutritious diet is quite influential in increasing fertility or preventing infertility. The right food plan is key to dealing with various chronic conditions, including fertility health. The foods you choose to fill your plate can decrease inflammation, lower cholesterol, and enhance digestion. Consider the list of the topmost healthy foods you can include in your diet food for healthy sperm.
Zinc: Bananas, avocados, pomegranates, shellfish, and eggs are zinc-rich foods that greatly influence the status of male fertility. A zinc deficiency leads to low sperm quality and testosterone levels, ultimately leading to infertility.
D-aspartic acid: A type of amino acid, a deficiency of it greatly results in infertility in men. It successfully increases testosterone levels.
Antioxidants: Blackberries, blueberries, and cranberries, vitamin C and E-rich fruits are abundant in antioxidants that prevent DNA damage, improve sperm count and quality, and even increase sperm motility. It also helps reduce oxidative stress.
Fenugreek supplements: A culinary and medicinal herb is quite effective in increasing testosterone levels and libido. It also helps decrease body fat and improves sexual performance.
Ashwagandha: Another ancient herb used to treat infertility issues. It improves the quality and quantity of the sperm.
Maca root supplements: This root is specifically administered to treat infertility in men, along with other uses. It improves testosterone levels, libido, and the quality and motility of the sperm.
Include folate: A low intake of folate may impair semen quality 
Lead a healthy lifestyle: Avoid trans-fat food, and limit soy intake and alcohol intake.
Get adequate sleep: Getting adequate sleep is vital to maintaining your health. Restricted or excessive sleep has also been linked to poor semen quality.
