Mayor Kusum Yadav of the Municipal Corporation Heritage conducted her first meeting with corporation officials on Friday, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming cleanliness survey. She urged all officials and employees to come together in the effort to position Jaipur as the cleanest city.

With the survey approaching, Mayor Yadav acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the corporation but stressed the need for increased diligence. She called for collaboration among zone deputy commissioners and branch in-charges to address cleanliness issues and prioritize the concerns of Jaipur’s residents, particularly those in the Parkota area. Additionally, to enhance public safety, she directed the engineering wing to promptly repair roads damaged by recent rains.

During the meeting, Additional Commissioner Surendra Singh provided updates on various initiatives, while other officials, including Additional Chief Engineer Shravan Kumar Verma and Deputy Commissioner Health Dalip Poonia, were also in attendance. The Mayor also stated that the night cleaning initiative in the Heritage Corporation area is functioning effectively. She mentioned that she personally inspected the cleaning operations in the market until late Thursday night, commending the cleaning staff for their hard work.

However, she highlighted that sewer issues are prevalent in the Parkota area and urged corporation officials to seek solid, long-term solutions. The Mayor also emphasized the need for strict action against temporary encroachments. Additionally, she instructed all officers to promptly address the concerns raised by public representatives, acknowledging that residents often approach these representatives with their complaints. She stressed the importance of providing immediate relief to the community.
Mayor Kusum Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of the night cleaning operations in the city late Thursday night. She evaluated the cleanliness efforts in areas such as Nehru Bazaar, Chhoti Chaupad, Tripolia Bazar, Badi Chaupad, and Ramganj. Overall, the Mayor expressed satisfaction with the cleanliness system in place.
