According to a police official, a 24-year-old man was detained on Friday for reportedly damaging two temples and defiling an idol in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, because his desires were not granted. The accused asked for God to repair his eye, which was hurt in an accident as a child. Police continued, “The accused appears to be emotionally ill.”
