A thief was filmed methodically stealing several pairs of shoes from a building in Bengaluru, taking his time to inspect each pair before making off with them. The video, which has since gone viral on social media, shows the thief’s meticulous approach to his crime, highlighting not only his audacity but also the area’s lack of security.
Captured on camera, the thief is seen entering a corridor carrying a sack. Dressed in black and wearing a mask that covers half of his face, he approaches a rack of shoes. Instead of quickly grabbing what he can, the thief pauses to assess each pair, meticulously checking for wear and tear before selecting them.

The video shows him leaving the frame briefly to retrieve two pairs of shoes from the opposite side of the corridor. He then returns to the rack and continues his slow, deliberate theft, eventually placing the stolen shoes into his sack before walking away calmly.
The Instagram post accompanying the video states, “Visuals of shoe theft took place in C-Block, AECS Layout, Brookfield, Bengaluru for the second time in 6 months.” The footage has left local residents shocked and concerned about the repeated incidents of theft in the area.
