BJP MPs, MLAs, cabinet ministers and the party leaders hailing from Brahmin community are leaving no stone unturned to make ‘Brahmin Mahakumbh’ a grand success, to be held on 11 December 2022 in Karnal. All party leaders have been directed and assigned responsibilities for the same. Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar will be present at the convention as the chief guest.
Member of Parliament Kartikeya Sharma who hails from the community has been visiting various districts to ensure that the ‘Brahmin Mahakumbh becomes a grand success with the participation of all sections of the people.
Making a series of programmes and addressing several gatherings in Haryana, Kartikeya Sharma on Monday visited Siwah village of Panipat where he was warkly welcomed by villagers. He was accompanied by the BJP MP from the state Krishan Panwar.
Addressing the gathering, Kartikeya Sharma said that there is enthusiasm not only in the Brahmin community, but also among other sections of the society regarding this convention. “It is evident from the enthusiasm and love I am getting from people across the state,” said the young MP, adding that I am continuously visiting different parts of the state as a brother and son rather than as a parliamentarian.
Overwhelmed by the response from the people present here, he further said: “My father Venod Sharma had always put his best to serve the people in the state. Following the footsteps of my father, I also wish to dedicate myself to the people.”
“Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the state is touching new horizons and climbing a ladder of progress.”
Notably, Venod Sharma is a reputed and eminent politician who enjoys huge popularity among all sections of the society.
Kartikeya Sharma said that he is committed to sort out the issues of 36 fraternities in the state on priority basis. “Be it serving the nation or the society, the Brahmin community has always contributed to the betterment of the society”, he said.
He appealed to people to ensure their maximum presence in the convention in order to make it a huge success.
The political experts are of the opinion that this convention has far-reaching ramifications and political meanings to reach to the influential Brahmin community. Chief Minister is believed to have a close eye on the preparations of the programme to ensure the success of the convention.
