On Wednesday, Maharashtra saw a significant increase in daily Covid-19 cases, surpassing the 1,000 mark with 1,115 new infections, 320 of which were reported from Mumbai alone. Nine deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, according to the state health bulletin.
