Maharashtra Congress in-charge Ramesh Chenithala and state unit President Nana Patole unveiled the report card titled Bhrashtayuti Maharashtrachi Durgati on Wednesday, which exposed the real truth behind Mahayuti’s so-called achievements. They alleged that the BJP was attempting to undermine its Mahayuti partners and emphasized that there was no conflict among the Maha Vikas Aghadi partners.

Patole criticized the Mahayuti government for the alarming rise in farmers’ suicides, stating, “During this period, the issue of farmer suicides has reached alarming levels, particularly under the Mahayuti government. Amravati has recorded the highest number of farmer suicides.”

He further pointed out the rising inflation and rampant corruption at every level in the state, saying, “Corruption has plagued the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, resulting in its deterioration within just eight months.”

“The rising inflation has become a major concern, affecting every aspect of life. The Maha Yuti government has failed to provide any benefits to the people of Maharashtra in sectors such as education, health, and others. Unemployment has also seen a drastic increase due to the policies of this government,” he added.

Patole alleged that significant projects had been relocated from Maharashtra to Gujarat, stating, “Furthermore, major projects in Maharashtra have been moved to Gujarat, which undermines our state’s development. The number of farmer suicides has continued to rise under the Shinde government.”

Regarding the Dharavi redevelopment project, Patole criticized the government, saying, “The Maha Yuti government has also engaged in selling Dharavi, a move that raises serious concerns about our urban development.”

Patole also announced that Rahul Gandhi would be visiting Nagpur on November 6 for a ‘Save the Constitution’ program. In the evening, they will hold a meeting of the Maha Vikas Aghadi at BKC.

Meanwhile, Chenithala also targeted the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, alleging that the BJP has marginalized its partners in the state, while Congress has treated its partners with respect.

Attacking the BJP, Chenithala said, “Only the BJP is contesting in Maharashtra among the Mahayuti alliance. The BJP has effectively ended the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and the Ajit Pawar-led NCP.

“Whereas in the MVA, we have treated all our partners with respectable numbers,” the Congress leader said.

He also stated that they are ensuring their rebel leaders withdraw their nominations, urging their leaders to comply.

“There is no friendly fight in MVA; we work unitedly,” he emphasized.

Chennithala claimed that the Congress has only given A and B forms to candidates who were already announced.

He also mentioned that the implementation of the state government’s Ladli Behen Yojana has been halted by the Election Commission due to the state government lacking funds for the scheme.

“They have no funds for the Ladli Behen Yojana in the Maharashtra government treasury, which is why the ECI stopped the schemes. The women of Maharashtra will not receive any money from the government. It was all lies told before the elections,” Chennithala concluded.
