In an alleged rape case of a woman passenger, a bus conductor has been arrested in the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday, the incident occurred and after a few hours of the incident, the accused was arrested.
“A bus conductor misled the woman. He told her that the bus would go to her stop but brought her to another place instead. The conductor raped the woman overnight at the last stop before throwing her off the vehicle,” the local police station in charge said.
Meanwhile, the complaint was filed by the victim herself as she managed to reach the nearest police station.
Under sections 373 and 367 of the IPC, a case was registered against the conductor.
Moreover, within a few hours of the incident, the police started to search the accused and after a few hours, the accused was arrested.
However, the local police station in charge informed that the accused was produced before a court and later was sent to the court.
