A new chapter in infrastructure development unfolded today as Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha inaugurated the Officers’ Quarters of the Estates Department in Jammu. The inauguration ceremony marked the introduction of five state-of-the-art 3 BHK (G+2) accommodation units, constructed at a commendable cost of Rs 6.16 crore.

The event saw the esteemed presence of key dignitaries, including Sh Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary; Sh Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary Estates Department; Sh Anand Jain, ADGP, Jammu; Dr Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lt Governor; and Sh Shakti Pathak, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, alongside several other senior officers.

The newly inaugurated Officers’ Quarters stand as a testament to the commitment of the administration towards providing modern and comfortable living spaces for its officials. The construction of these units, equipped with contemporary amenities, reflects the emphasis on enhancing the overall working and living environment for the Estates Department.

Speaking at the inauguration, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha expressed his satisfaction with the completion of this project, underscoring the importance of providing conducive working conditions for government officials. The Officers’ Quarters are expected to contribute significantly to fostering a conducive and efficient work atmosphere.
