Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday urged voters, especially women and youth, to vote in large numbers in the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections. In a post on X, PM Modi emphasized the importance of voter turnout in the 57 seats across 8 states and UTs going to the polls. He encouraged young and women voters to make the democracy more vibrant and participative.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also posted on X, appealing to Uttar Pradesh voters to choose a development-focused government. He highlighted the need for an honest government to build infrastructure and provide essential services to the poor.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called on voters to support the INDIA bloc, emphasizing the fight against dictatorial forces and the importance of protecting the Constitution and fundamental rights.

The seventh and final phase of voting began on Saturday, covering 57 parliamentary constituencies across seven states and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. This phase concludes the world’s largest polling marathon, with over 10.06 crore electors expected to vote.

Prominent candidates in this phase include PM Modi, BJP leaders Ravi Shankar Prasad and Nishikant Dubey, Congress leaders Manish Tewari and Charanjit Singh Channi, and actor-turned-politicians Kangana Ranaut and Ravi Kishan.
