Earlier on Saturday, Amit Shah, accompanied by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP’s president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, attended ‘Ganga Aarti’ at Dashashwamedh Ghat during Banaras’s visit.

Later, he also attended drone show presentation that detailed developmental projects completed in Banaras in the last 10 years.
He also reviewed the preparations underway for PM Modi’s upcoming roadshow in Varanasi on May 13. And also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will file his nomination for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on May 14.
About Varanasi Lok Sabha Constituency
The constituency of Varanasi consist of five assembly segments: – Rohaniya, Varanasi North, Varanasi South, Varanasi Cantt, and Sevapuri.
In the previous 2019 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi won Varanasi seat with over 674,664 votes. Thus, acquiring the vote share of 63.6 per cent.
The Voting in this region will take place in the seventh phase of the election on June 1st. With counting of votes on June 4.
