PM Modi to address NDA; INDIA bloc to protest Bihar voter list revision in Parliament.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to address the BJP-led NDA parliamentary meeting today at the Parliamentary Library Building. The meeting comes amid an ongoing standoff in Parliament, as the leaders of the opposition demand a debate and the cancellation of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in Bihar. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha members of the NDA are expected to attend the meeting. 

At the same time, INDIA alliance leaders will meet in the office of the Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha at 10 pm in the Parliamentary Library Building. 

Post the meeting, the INDIA alliance MPs will also hold a protest at 10:30 am near Makar Dwar in the parliament against the SIR, with the slogan ‘Our Vote, Our Right, Our Fight.’

Summary: PM Modi will address the NDA meeting today amid a Parliament deadlock over Bihar’s voter list revision. INDIA bloc leaders will meet separately and protest near Makar Dwar, demanding withdrawal of the Special Intensive Revision with the slogan 'Our vote, our right'.

Pramod Tiwari Tears into Govt Over CISF in Parliament

Congress MP Pramod Tiwari pointed the attention to the presence of CISF personnel in Parliament, in a response to the Supreme Court's remarks on Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's comments about the India-China clash. 

He said, "I gave a notice in the Rajya Sabha that the way CISF was given permit into the Parliament was the murder of democracy... Entire opposition has unitedly opposed this as it is against the freedom and purity of the Parliament. Government should express regret over this... The paramilitary forces should never be called inside the Parliamentary premises..."

JP Nadda Slams Opposition

BJP leader and Union Minister JP Nadda slammed the Opposition parities at the Rajya Sabha for their protest demanding a debate on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Bihar electoral polls and its cancellation.

He said, "Your idea of democracy seems to end with disrupting ruling party leaders while they speak in Parliament – this is not democracy, it's anarchism. If you don't know how to oppose properly, take tuition from me on how to behave as the Opposition."

Resolution Passed on Op Sindoor

A resolution on Operation Sindoor was passed at the NDA Parliamentary Party Meeting.

As part of a major outreach, the Prime Minister enabled 59 MPs from various parties to visit 32 countries to share India’s stance on terrorism, stressing that any attack anywhere is a crime against all humanity.

The involvement of Opposition MPs highlights India’s democratic strength and the PM’s belief in unity on national issues.
