Hello!
Welcome to our live coverage of the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’. The Opposition leaders have gathered in Sasaram to commence the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ from Bihar’s Sasaram. The Sasaram election rally, marks a significant moment in Bihar’s political landscape. Thousands assemble in Sasaram as leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Tejashwi Yadav strongly attacked the ruling party, the Election Commission, and the recent elections processes they said were intended to rig voter lists and subvert democracy. The rally was a mix of emotive speeches, appeals for the safeguarding of constitutional rights, and a forceful appeal against so-called “vote theft.” With the opposition setting out on their large-scale yatra in several districts, the rally reinforced their intent to organise ground-level support and ensure electoral integrity before the Bihar assembly elections.
The Yatra will be passing through over 20 districts in Bihar. The March would go on through Dev Road Amba in Kutumba (Aurangabad) tomorrow on 18th August, 2025. Thereon, the events on 19th August would be held at Hanuman Mandir in Wazirganj. Taking rest on 20th August, the Yatra would move forward to Sheikhpura and Lakhisarai on 21st August. August 22 will focus on Bhagalpur division with a meeting at Chandan Bagh Chowk in Munger.
