The Voter Adhikar Yatra, launched by Rahul Gandhi and other leaders of the INDIA Bloc yesterday, has begun its second day in the state of Bihar with the alliance feverishly campaigning for the 2025 Assembly elections. It traverses over 1,300 km in more than 20 districts, with the rally being touted as a movement to safeguard the right to vote and protect the Constitution against what the opposition terms as systematic voter fraud by the BJP and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls by the Election Commission.
In Sasaram on Day 1, leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Prasad Yadav, delivered fiery speeches, accusing the BJP of “vote theft” and pledging to defend democracy in Bihar. Enormous crowds demonstrated the strength of the INDIA Bloc with the polls in the state approaching.
Today, the Yatra will wind on with rallies, padyatras and roadshows campaigning in new constituencies, where opposition leaders are expected to double down against the BJP on issues of democracy, rights and livelihoods while asking for the voters’ support.

LoP Rahul Gandhi alleged that BJP and the Election Commission are committing large-scale fraud in Bihar’s voter lists, arbitrarily removing names and denying voting rights. He said the poor, Dalits, backward classes and minorities are being unfairly targeted and vowed to stand with them.

Rahul Gandhi says even regular voters names were struck off in Bihar, blaming “orders from above.” He vows to continue the fight against ‘vote chori’ in Aurangabad.
pic.twitter.com/wL1AdnKM6O
