Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the previous UPA government, asserting that, unlike during the Manmohan Singh-led era, the Modi government responded firmly to terrorism through Operation Sindoor.
“After Operation Sindoor, our DGMO informed Pakistan's DGMO that India had struck terror infrastructure on their soil under the right of self-defence. It can’t be like it was during Manmohan Singh's tenure — terrorists come, attack us, and we remain silent. We eliminated those who bled India under the Congress regime,” Shah said in the Lok Sabha.
On Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah informed the Lok Sabha that the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) had granted full operational freedom to Indian security forces in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, paving the way for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor.
