Breath

Your name
Reverberating in my soul
Calming me, though
The Words eluded me,
Leaving me with
No comfort or peace…

Agitated and agonised
To the deepest core,
I wish upon every star
To let me have you…

Hold me in your arms
Shelter me against your heart
Even if it’s the stupidest thing ever
All I need to hear,
Your heart beating…

That’s all it takes
For me, to breathe again…
