Saplings were planted at the DSP office in Mubarikpur by the Lions Club Derabassi, led by President Balkar Singh. The event witnessed the special participation of the newly arrived ASP Vaibhav Chaudhary.
Club Secretary Sanant Bharatwaj shared that the Lions Club Derabassi has initiated a campaign to plant saplings and place plant pots in various government institutions.
Sanant Bharatwaj highlighted that the choice of government schools and offices for planting saplings is strategic. This decision aims to ensure ease of maintenance, allowing the staff in these offices to conveniently take care of the saplings. The campaign commenced at the DSP office in Mubarikpur under this initiative.
The event was attended by Club Treasurer Kewal Goyal, senior members Barkha Ram, Punia Bhardwaj, ASP reader Harish Bhardwaj, and other members. The presence of ASP Vaibhav Chaudhary added significance to the occasion, emphasizing the community involvement in environmental initiatives.
