Toddler Becomes World’s Youngest Male Artist, Sells 9 Paintings

Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah, a young artist from Ghana, has made history by becoming the world’s youngest male artist to be featured in the Guinness World Records. At just 1 year and 152 days old, he not only created multiple paintings but also successfully sold nine of them at an exhibition. This extraordinary achievement has not only delighted his local community but has also garnered global admiration, with many expressing awe at his inclusion in the GWR list.

Early Signs of Talent

According to his mother, Chantelle, Ace-Liam’s passion for painting was evident from a very young age, starting at just six months old. She shared with GWR that while she was working on a commission painting, she spread out a piece of unstretched canvas on the floor to keep him occupied. To her surprise, he ended up spreading paint all over the canvas, creating his first masterpiece, “The Crawl.”

Ace-Liam has become a celebrity in Ghana, attracting attention from both national and international media, as well as from the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana.

Artistic Expression

His recent group exhibition showcased ten artworks, nine of which were sold. His abstract paintings, inspired by the world around him, reflect his curiosity, joy, and exploration of colors, shapes, textures, and moods.

With his record-breaking achievement, Ace-Liam’s family is exploring opportunities to provide him with quality education to nurture his artistic talent. They are seeking international scholarship opportunities and avenues to sell his artworks.

Advice from Ace-Liam’s Mother

Chantelle advises parents to encourage their children to find their interests and support them, as every child is unique. She emphasizes the fulfillment that comes from nurturing their passions.
