Shah Rukh Khan stopped by customs officials; pays Rs 6.83 lakh penalty

Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan landed into trouble with the airport authorities when he was returning from the United Arab Emirates to Mumbai on Saturday.

According to the Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) sources, at the Mumbai airport actor, Shah Rukh Khan was stopped as Khan was carrying expensive watches worth Rs 18 lakh.

Meanwhile, as a penalty actor was made to pay Rs 6.83 lakh for custom duty. The ‘Pathaan’ actor was traveling in a private chartered plane as he made his quick appearance at an event in Sharjah.

Talking about his upcoming movies SRK talked at an event in Sharjah about being nervous before his movie release and said, “I don’t think I need to be nervous, they are all going to be super-hit films.”

Moreover, the statement sound ‘arrogant’ but the actor explained, “That’s the belief I sleep with, I wake up with and that’s the belief that makes the 57-year-old me do stunts, and work 18 hours a day. If I did not have that belief that I am making a product that lots of people are going to like then I won’t be able to do it. So. it’s not an arrogant statement, this is what I like to believe. It’s a child-like belief that ‘look, I have prepared my best, I have done my best I am going to pass with flying colors.”

However, King Khan will return to the big screen with three movies in 2023 they are Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’, Atlee’s ‘Jawan’, and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’.
