Rani Mukerji’s grandmother dies due to age-related ailments

Bengali actor Debashree Roy’s mother Arati Roy and Rani Mukerji’s grandma dies at 92 on Tuesday around 6:30 pm.

Meanwhile, for quite some time Debashree Roy’s mother Arati Roy was suffering from age-related ailments and lastly, she died in the presence of her three daughters.

Moreover, Debashree always talked about her mother and how she supported her to fulfill her dream.

Once a TV show was hosted by Debshankar Haldar where she said, “My mother is everything.”

Talking to the media Debashree said, “I could not understand when mother left. I became an actress because of my mother. She had no particular disease except the problems of old age. But in the end, she had all of her three daughters by her side, so she went very peacefully.”

Earlier in August 2022, the grandmother of Rani Mukerji suffered serious injuries and Debashree updated and said, “My mother is currently living with my elder sister. She fell down and seriously injured her forehead. She lost a lot of blood and fell unconscious.”

However, Debashree Roy’s mother Arati Roy is also the grandmother of Rani Mukherji and it is said due to physical illness she won’t be attending her last rites.
