“People will say you are from BJP…”: BeerBiceps’ Ranveer Allahabadia’s candid conversation with PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented the Disruptor of the Year award to YouTube creator Ranveer Allahbadia (BeerBiceps) at the National Creators Award ceremony at Bharat Mandapam on Friday. During the presentation, PM Modi engaged in a light-hearted banter with Allahbadia, asking him to share a few fitness mantras. Ranveer responded by suggesting yoga, meditation, and other practices.

PM Modi playfully remarked, “People may say now that he’s saying what Modiji says, He belongs to BJP now.” The Prime Minister praised Ranveer for his work and suggested that he include discussions on the importance of sleep in his show. He also revealed that he sleeps very little every day due to his busy schedule over the past many years.

The ceremony also saw PM Modi presenting the Heritage Fashion Icon Award to Jahnvi Singh and the Best Creator in Food Category Award to Kabita Singh (Kabita’s Kitchen). Other awardees included Pankhti Pandey for the ‘Green Champion’ category, Keerthika Govindasamy for best storyteller, singer Maithili Thakur for ‘Cultural Ambassador of the Year’, Gaurav Chaudhary for Best Creator in Tech Category, Ankit Baiyanpuria for Best Health and Fitness Creator, Naman Deshmukh for Best Creator in Education Category, and Kamiya Jani for Favourite Travel Creator.

Additionally, PM Modi presented the Most Creative Creator- Female award to Shraddha Jain (AiyyoShraddha) and Most Creative Creator-Male to RJ Raunac (Bauaa).

The National Creators Award received significant public engagement, with over 1.5 lakh nominations and approximately 10 lakh votes cast. The award aims to recognize excellence and impact across various domains such as storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming. It serves as a platform to promote creativity for positive change.

The award was presented across twenty categories, including Best Storyteller Award, Celebrity Creator of the Year, Green Champion Award, Best Creator For Social Change, and others.
