Actress Janhvi Kapoor recently appeared on ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ alongside co-star Rajkummar Rao, where she found herself in the spotlight as host Kapil Sharma teased her about her alleged relationship with Shikhar Pahariya.
In a recently released promo of the show, Kapil Sharma humorously questioned Janhvi about her preferences in a life partner, jokingly suggesting if she would choose someone with the same interests as “jis Shikhar par aap aaj hai” (the Shikhar you’re currently on).
The playful banter left Janhvi blushingly amused, hinting at the intriguing dynamics of her personal life. The promo also showcased Janhvi engaging in a hilarious game of charades with Rajkummar Rao, where she attempted to convey a message to him through comical expressions. Transitioning to another scene, Kapil Sharma quizzed Rajkummar about his experiences working with Janhvi in their upcoming film ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, humorously comparing her portrayal of a ghost in ‘Roohi’ to her role as his on-screen wife.
Rajkummar’s witty response, “Whether it’s a ghost or a wife, it is the same,” added to the light-hearted banter between the actors.
While Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya have not officially confirmed their relationship, their alleged romance has been the subject of speculation in the media.
‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’, directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, is set to hit screens on May 31. The film marks the second collaboration between Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, following their previous outing in ‘Roohi’, and the second collaboration between Janhvi and director Sharan Sharma, known for ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’.
