The highly anticipated Kamal Haasan-led vigilante drama Indian 2 is expected to arrive in theatres in July. This has created a great deal of buzz among fans. Here is another exciting update about the film.
According to Pinkvilla, the makers of the film have decided to release the trailer of Indian 3 with it. Director Shankar has finished the shoot of both flicks and completed a trilogy.
“A crisp theatrical trailer of Indian 3 will be attached to Indian 2. It will form a part of the end credit of this action-packed film, and the team also intends to announce the release date of Indian 3 with Indian 2. The sequel of this 1996 cult ends on a cliffhanger, and the trailer of part 3 will amp up the excitement for the release of the finale,” added a source.
Both films are scheduled to release within a gap of a year.Sources also added that Shankar and co. have got Ruben on the board as a special consultant to work on the trailers and pre-release events of Indian 2 and Indian 3
Kamal Haasan’s reprising his role as Senapathy, an aged freedom fighter-turned-vigilante fighting against corruption, in Indian 2. It has an ensemble cast of Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, S. J. Suryah, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, among others.
The original film ‘Indian’ was released in 1996 and emerged as a pan-India Blockbuster. The ending of the film featured a toe-curling twist. As such, fans can expect the next two installments to continue this tradition and take forward the franchise’s legacy.
